The Renaissance Knights Community Chess Club is open to anyone of any age who wants to learn and play chess. The Chess Club meets on most Sundays and holds US Chess Federation rated events, provides chess lessons, and hosts group lessons by chess masters.

Renaissance Library
The library program provides resources to people to help them improve their chess playing by sponsoring a lending library of chess books and hosting this website that provides all kind of information to chess players, including where to play, online resources, and upcoming events.  Books can be checked out for up to four weeks at a time at no cost.

Knights of the Round Table
We sponsor a club team known as the Knights of the Round Table that competes in local, state and national tournaments. Renaissance Knights provides coaching for the team members, pays for the tournament entry fee, and helps defray travel expenses.

Honored Knights
The program recognizes area chess players for their achievements and/or contribution to the chess community by awarding the titles of Honored Knight.  Persons awarded this title and presented with a certificate.
